I was born in 1988 in Southern Korea. After I was born, my grandfather named me Hyerin Suk which means twinkling wisdom. My family wants me to be wise as I grow. In 1995, I entered elementary school in my hometown and graduated in 2000. When I was sixth grade of elementary school, I wanted to be a simultaneous interpreter because I was interested in English. My mom introduced me an young lady as an English teacher when I was 8 years old. My private English tutor was really nice and kind to me so that I could be interested in learning English. Due to her hard job, English was my favorite subject at school.
However, after I entered middle school, my future dream has changed. I saw many English teachers in school, and I hoped to be an English teacher in my future instead of a simutaneous interpreter. Still my favorite subject was English at that time. During the English class, I enjoyed it very much. When I told my family about my future dream, they glad to hear that. I felt I was supported by my family. In the high school, I studied English harder to major in English in the university. Finally, I entered the university majoring in English Literature. I was really happy that I can focus on only studying English. All my family members were happy too with my successful enter to the university. After I entered my university, I applied for Education course to get English Education degree. During the univeristy life, I would like to come to the U.S. to learn English deeply and get more life experience. So I came to the U.S. a year ago, taking time off school. I think my choice to come to the U.S. was a great one since I can learn about eLearning, taking this course. I am happy now because I can learn more. With these my experience, I will be an English teacher in Korea.
